La Beca de Estudio y Trabajo (BET) es un programa que sostiene la UASD, a través de la Dirección de Bienestar Estudiantil (D.B.E.) el cual, desde sus inicios, está concebido para estudiantes de escasos recursos económicos y altos índices académicos, quienes también muestren destrezas bets y aptitudes para realizar labores auxiliares de oficina con responsabilidad, honestidad y dedicación, exhibiendo esta conducta dentro y fuera de la institución académica, como forma de enaltecer la confianza que les otorga la Universidad.Además, el programa está orientado para estudiantes de ambos sexos, que cursen carreras que contribuyan con el desarrollo nacional en las partes más sensibles de la sociedad, como son las áreas de salud, educación, etc. Este programa ofrece un conjunto de facilidades, incluyendo una remuneración económica establecida por el honorable Consejo Universitario.   Quienes pueden ser BET1. Todos los estudiantes universitarios que reúnan los requisitos establecidos en los reglamentos.2. Los estudiantes en pleno disfrute de crédito educativo, quienes, interesados en convertirse en Bet´s, presenten formal solicitud a la Dirección de Bienestar Estudiantil.3. Los estudiantes universitarios de escasos recursos económicos y con aptitudes y conocimientos para realizar labores auxiliares o administrativas.4. Los estudiantes que demuestren su disposición al cumplimiento de las labores que les asignen y que continúen aprovechando académicamente su tiempo, aprobando todas las asignaturas.5.
