Happiness is the darkest of black comedies, portraying three sisters in a seriously dysfunctional family and unflinchingly taking on rape, murder and pedophilia. The laughs are few and far between and the movie is almost certainly to leave you more depressed than when you sat down to watch it, but excellent performances by Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Lara Flynn Boyle, Camryn Manheim and Dylan Baker still make it worth seeing.
The films only nudity is provided by Jane Adams, who is seen here being seduced by one of her ESL students. Unfortunately, he leaves as soon as its over. We get a few looks at Janes small, perky breasts.
